JOB DESCRIPTION

The role of Merchandise Assistant is to support the Buying & Planning Manager to drive and manage the flow of stock within the brand

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Allocation and Analysis

  • Assist in building and maintaining Retail reporting
  • Plan and execute seasonal allocations for our Retail and E-Commerce channels
  • Manage stock to sales ratios through effective initial allocation and in-season consolidations
  • Monitor product performance by size and location. Identify sales trends and make recommendations to improve sell through on slow/aged inventory

Inventory & System Management

  • Manage stock movement administration end to end to ensure accurate inventory
  • General administrative duties across both Retail and Wholesale channels including but not limited to; product and sales order creation, invoicing, PO/transfer management and reconciliation
  • Monitor, investigate, resolve, and report on stock discrepancies. Run regular cycle counts and assist in quarterly stocktakes
